Conference participants are expected to make their own accommodation arrangements at the conference venue or nearby hotels.
You can check a list of highly recommended hotels here.

All participants are required to register for the conference prior to their arrival. The registration process can be completed online through the conference website. Please ensure that you have received a confirmation email after registering. On the day of the conference, please bring a printed or digital copy of your registration confirmation for easy check-in.

During the conference, refreshments and meals will be provided to all participants, that is 2 tea/coffee breaks and lunches. A variety of options will be available to accommodate dietary restrictions. If you have specific dietary requirements, please indicate them during the registration process or contact our organizing committee.

The conference dress code is business casual. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and bringing a light jacket or jumper, as meeting room temperatures may vary.

Request for cancellation must be done in writing by email to ACATCoordinator@aatf-africa.org. After cancellation, 50% of the registration fee will be reimbursed if cancellation is done before 30th September 2023. Cancellations after 30th September 2023 will be forfeited and there will be no reimbursement. All reimbursements will be processed within 10 business days after confirmation from ACAT Organising Committee.

The refund will be returned via the same payment method as the original receipt of funds.

No refund will be made after 30th September 2023. However, an alternative delegate’s name may be provided in writing and the booking and funds will be allocated accordingly.

Please note that no refund or discount will be made if the event within the registration fee is not taken up or is subsequently cancelled.

Registration Fees

Cancellation of a registration must be advised via email to the ACAT Secretariat [ACATCoordinator@aatf-africa.org]. Verbal changes or cancellation cannot be accepted.

Accommodation

For accommodation cancellation policies, please refer to the individual hotel policies noted on their respective websites. Any amendments to original hotel bookings must be forwarded via email to the ACAT Secretariat.

  •  5 – 25 attendees will benefit from a 10% discount of the total registration fee
  • More than 25 attendees will benefit from a 20% discount of the total registration fee

Ensuring the privacy of our Users' personal data is of the utmost significance for AATF. The processing of personal data by AATF through the ACAT website (and other online services) is subject to the following terms to which the User agrees by browsing the ACAT website and using its online services:

Categories of personal data processed by AATF
When accessing the ACAT webpage and other online services, AATF may process personal data in the course of the creation of an ACAT Account. The personal data processed may, inter alia, include the User's first and last name, address, phone number and email address.

Purpose of the processing
AATF may contact Users regarding account status, to confirm registration and to advise Users of major changes to the service.

Using the Users' e-mail addresses, AATF may periodically send Users information, survey requests or promotional e-mails about services, events or publications relating to ACAT.

Upon request, Users may "opt out" of further e-mail contact (except for notifications regarding major changes to the service).

Cookies
Cookies are small texts sent from a web server and stored on a User's device, for instance, a computer or mobile phone. The ACAT website and its online services use cookies to offer the User an improved browsing experience, including features such as a single sign-on across different ACAT services, as well as continuous enhancement of the ACAT website and online services based on monitoring their usage and corresponding trends. For the latter purpose, the ACAT website and other online services may also use various web analytics tools to collect, inter alia, the ACAT Account username (for logged-in Users), information on the Internet Protocol address of the Users, the time spent on the ACAT website or online services, which webpages are visited, or the time and date of the visit.

The information collected via cookies and analytical tools is used in aggregated and anonymous manner for statistical purposes, and not to identify individual Users.

Users may, depending on their respective web browser, delete cookies at any time and/or make general settings with regard to the acceptance, rejection and deletion of cookies. This may however render certain features of the ACAT website and online services unavailable.
