Damilola Olapade is the Head of Extension and Outgrower Psaltry International Company Limited, the leading agro-allied cassava processing company and the first Casava-based Sorbitol factory in Africa. He is a diligent Agribusiness Specialist, Agripreneurship coach, Extensionist, Rural Development expert, and trainer with proven experience working with youth and rural farmers on a series of Agricultural management and rural development-driven projects. He has an extensive background in driving transformative changes in the field of agricultural extension and rural development, particularly in the Cassava Value chain.

He was recently elected as the Innovation development officer of the AKILIMO NIGERIA ASSOCIATION (ANA) implementing and leading digital and smart Agricultural tools for improving Cassava farmer's productivity. His notable accomplishments are the inclusion of Agricultural technological innovation, and the development of a Gender Integration Strategy and guideline, fostering the implementation of gender-sensitive activities in Agricultural projects.

He has spearheaded many projects founded by renowned international donors, Agribusiness investors, and grant-funding bodies such as the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA), Sustainable Trade Initiative (IDH), British American Tobacco of Nigeria Foundation and the African Cassava Agronomy Initiative (ACAI) project of IITA Nigeria, among many others.

With his profound expertise, passion, and unwavering dedication, he is poised to make significant contributions to the Inaugural African Conference on Agricultural Technology, sharing insights that will shape the future of Agriculture in Africa and promote sustainable development across the continent.
