Michelle Kagari is a lawyer and International Development practitioner, with a passion for social justice and empowering people. She has spent the last two decades of her career advocating for more inclusive and responsive governments to help people realize their full capabilities. In particular, she advocates for inclusion of underrepresented voices in governance and policy development, and on growing leaders in the social justice space. She is currently the Director for Government Relations and Policy at One Acre Fund (OAF), a non-profit Agriculture Service Provider assisting over One Million of Africa’s smallholder farmers to dramatically improve their incomes. Michelle leads OAF’s collaborative approach to working with governments to achieve food security and sustainable livelihoods for smallholder farmers to make them more prosperous.
