Eric Lane
Prosparity Systems has developed a multi-purpose agricultural vehicle that doesn’t need roads to transport harvest and mechanize cultivation.
Before Prosparity, Eric conducted research and strategy for the Edison2 Very Light Car, a hyper-efficient vehicle now in the Henry Ford Museum. Eric co-founded Prosparity with the designer of that vehicle, and later partnered with developers of the world’s first all-terrain supercar.
Eric developed Prosparity’s vehicle design brief and business strategy after a multi-year review of research on African agriculture and input from experts and businesses across the continent. By leveraging world-class engineering informed by these insights, Eric achieved high alignment between Prosparity’s innovation and development strategies to mechanize Sub-Saharan Smallholder farming.
