Founder Abze

Martha Haile is an entrepreneur with a background in the agricultural technology sector. She has held key leadership roles in prominent agtech startups and has spent the past decade living in Kenya and Nigeria, while working across sub-Saharan Africa. She recently launched Abze, a digital media company dedicated to amplifying the stories, innovations, and visionaries transforming Africa’s food system. Martha is also a co-founder of Hello Tractor and the former Vice President of Business Development at Wefarm. As a food systems entrepreneur, Martha is passionate about leveraging technology to empower smallholder farmers and create sustainable solutions within the food and agricultural sector. Martha is a proud Eritrean-American, based in Nairobi with her husband and two daughters.
