Our Mission

ACAT is Africa’s leading convening platform for structured dialogue and consensus building on agricultural technology innovation, investment, access and market creation.

It convenes governments, investors, innovators, policymakers, farmers, youth, women and change makers to unlock partnerships, mobilize investment, accelerate commercialization, and shape policies that enable adoption at scale of transformative agricultural technologies across the continent.

ACAT 2025 Highlights

  • Held at Kigali Convention Centre, Rwanda from 9–12 June 2025 under the theme: “NextGen Ag-Tech Solutions for Africa’s Farmers”
  • Hosted by AATF in partnership with the Government of Rwanda (MINAGRI)
  • Drew 816 participants from 38 countries, creating a diverse platform for dialogue, collaboration, and showcasing transformative agri-tech.
  • Built on ACAT 2023’s foundation with broader scope, deeper stakeholder impact, and reinforced core pillars of practical solutions, inclusivity, and advancing science.
  • Main objective was to showcase agricultural technologies that empower African farmers and transform food systems across the continent, guided by key sub-themes of Farmer-Centric Design, Enabling Environment, Last Mile Delivery, and Stewardship.
  • Featured 4 plenaries, 4 Technical Interactive Panels (TIPs), 5 Strategic Dialogues (SDATAs), 8 live demos, 3 special events and 29 exhibitions.
