By registering to attend, exhibit, sponsor, or participate in any capacity in the African Conference on Agricultural Technology 2025 ("ACAT 2027" or "the Conference"), you ("Delegate", "Participant" or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms").
These Terms are entered into between you and the African Agricultural Technology Foundation (AATF), a pan-African non-profit institution registered in Kenya ("AATF", "we", "us", or "our"), as the organiser of ACAT 2027.
If you are registering on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms. These Terms apply to all registrations made through this website and supersede all previous terms relating to ACAT 2025.
Registration for ACAT 2027 is open to individuals and organisations with a professional, academic, governmental, or civil society interest in agricultural technology and development in Africa.
Each registration is for a named individual. Group registrations are permitted but individual attendee details must be provided for accreditation purposes.
All registration fees are quoted in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. Fees are inclusive of applicable conference materials, daily lunches, and refreshments as specified for each ticket category.
All fees are subject to applicable taxes where required by law. It is your responsibility to comply with local tax obligations.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to ACATDelegates@aatf-africa.org, quoting your registration number.

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 14 working days. Bank charges incurred are the responsibility of the delegate.
AATF reserves the right to cancel or postpone the Conference due to force majeure. In such circumstances, liability is limited to a refund of registration fees paid, less any unrecoverable costs.
You may transfer your registration to a colleague from the same organisation at any time prior to the Conference, at no additional charge. Substitution requests must be submitted in writing to ACATDelegates@aatf-africa.org at least 7 days before the Conference, providing the full details of the replacement delegate.
Transfers to individuals outside the original registrant's organisation are not permitted without prior written approval from AATF.
AATF reserves the right to alter the Conference programme, speakers, venue, dates, and format at any time and without liability. Changes will be communicated to registered delegates by email.
AATF does not guarantee the participation of any specific speaker. Speaker cancellations or substitutions do not entitle delegates to a refund.
ACAT 2025 is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and professional environment for all participants. All delegates are required to:
AATF reserves the right to remove any delegate who violates this Code from the Conference without refund.
By attending ACAT 2027, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded by AATF or its authorised media partners for promotional purposes including social media, press releases, reports, and future conference marketing.
Delegates may photograph or record sessions for personal, non-commercial purposes only. Commercial use or redistribution requires prior written consent from AATF.
If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please inform the registration desk upon arrival.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AATF and its officers shall not be liable for: loss, theft, or damage to personal property; personal injury unless caused by AATF gross negligence; indirect or consequential loss; or costs associated with travel, accommodation, or visa applications where the Conference is cancelled or registration refused.
You agree to indemnify AATF against any claims arising from your breach of these Terms or violation of any law in connection with the Conference.
You are strongly encouraged to obtain comprehensive travel and medical insurance prior to travelling.
All intellectual property rights in the Conference name, logo, website content, presentations, materials, and recordings belong to AATF or are used with permission. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use AATF's intellectual property without prior written consent.
Speakers retain ownership of their materials but grant AATF a non-exclusive licence to use and distribute their presentations in Conference materials and publications.
The personal data you provide during registration will be processed by AATF in accordance with our Privacy Policy and in compliance with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019 and the Rwanda Data Protection and Privacy Law.
By registering, you consent to AATF using your contact details to send information relating to ACAT 2027 and future AATF events. You may unsubscribe at any time by contacting ACATDelegates@aatf-africa.org.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any dispute shall first be referred to mediation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Nairobi, Kenya.
AATF reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified to registered delegates by email.
